Connects local farmers, ranchers, and food producers directly with consumers, strengthening Utah’s local food system and keeping food dollars in the community.
Provides year-round access to farm-fresh products including raw milk, eggs, local honey, meats, bread, and other Utah-made goods through the market at Oliver’s Place.
Serves as a community gathering place that hosts farmers markets, educational workshops, and special events that connect people to agriculture, food production, and rural heritage.
Supports food security and supply-chain resilience by promoting locally sourced food and creating market opportunities for Utah producers and small businesses.
Preserves and celebrates a multi-generational farming legacy by combining local food access, agricultural education, agritourism, and heritage preservation on a historic family farm dating back to 1870.

Oliver’s Place

Welcome to Oliver’s Place! In 1870, Oliver Smith homesteaded 83 acres in ‘the bottoms’, to raise a family and grow food for the surrounding areas. For 5 generations, the Smith boys have been caring for and working the land. Over the years, orchard crops, field and row crops, and several of kinds of animal herds have been raised for food for the surrounding communities. A little sliver of that original homestead is left and now Oliver’s Place barn will be open which will preserve the heritage and legacy of Oliver Smith and the generations that followed. There is something for everyone at Oliver’s Place! Farm fresh food store, ice cream parlor, event center and farm activities year round (Hee Haw Farms) for all to enjoy.
